In April and May 1923, AC&F built 300 U.S.R.A. design box cars for the Portland Universal Cement Company.  Many of thesecars were sold to the Northampton & Bath in the early 1930’s.

The paint scheme was grey with black ends and roof with the herald and company name in red.
This set letters one of three selected car numbers from series 701-1000, plus number jumbles.

An underlying white layer is printed to ensure opacity of the red herald and lettering.  The red layer is aligned and applied over the white when decaling.
